Genetic testing and measures of intelligence

Intelligence of an individual person is used to describe more features of the mind and comprises different abilities, such as the ability of planning, problem solving, abstract thinking, understanding of complicated ideas, etc. Both the environment as well as the biological part influences the development of an individual’s intelligence evaluated by an IQ test score. What interests us the most is the biological part which includes genetic predispositions of an individual. Namely, more genes affect the IQ, some of which were specified, and the established changes in them are connected with a higher or lower IQ.
