Aspirin effective as treatment for migraine headaches

Aspirin kot učinkovito zdravilo proti migrenskim glavobolom A single 1000-mg dose of aspirin is an effective treatment of acute migraine headaches for more than half of people who take it.

According to the findings of a literature review, Aspirin can be used as a good first-line therapy for acute migraine attacks. Moderate to severe pain was reduced to no pain by 2 hours in 24% of people but only 11% in placebo group, when a single 1000 mg dose of Aspirin was taken.
